The Motet is touring the nation in support of their ninth studio album, Death or Devotion, a colorful assortment of jazzy funk, classic disco and soulful dance rhythms. We asked guitarist, Ryan Jalbert, a very important question about the band’s one-night Florida appearance: “Whacha Gonna Bring” to your devoted listeners in Jacksonville, FL? His answer couldn’t have been better:
“We went into this album release tour feeling creatively recharged with the excitement of delivering all this new music for our fans. At this point in the tour, the band feels like we’re really firing on all cylinders so we’re ready to bring the party to Jacksonville. At the end of the night, everyone will be best friends with everyone else.”
