For a fifth straight year, the Sunshine Music Festival will back in sunny South Florida for two days of soulful tunes from award winning musicians. The two-city festival first stops in St. Petersburg, FL at Vinoy Park on January 14th and finishes a day later just a short drive east in Boca Raton, FL at Mizner Park.
Once again, the Grammy Award winning Tedeschi Trucks Band will be headlining both days and will be joined by other awards winning musicians such as R&B icon Mavis Staples and former Grateful Dead keyboardist Bruce Hornsby. Along with Hornsby, Deadheads can also look forward to Joe Russo’s Almost Dead which has been bringing a unique interpretation of the jam legends to ferocious crowds since Russo’s time with Further years ago. Additionally, Sunshine Music Fest features Railroad Earth and North Mississippi All-Stars, both regulars on the jam scene.
