Miami based post punk band Astari Nite has some pretty cool shows coming up in Florida for the month of May (see full schedule below). To celebrate, singer Mychael Ghost put together an exclusive playlist featuring some songs that he has been listening lately. This mixtape combines some classics such as Jesus and Mary Chain, Raveonettes and Crystal Castles featuring Robert Smith, some up and coming bands, such as VOWWS, and some Florida bands like Modernage and Dénudés.

About Astari Nite
Formed in 2008, the group consists of Mychael Ghost (lead vocals), Illia Tulloch (Drums), M. Sallons (Bass), Michael Setton (Guitar), and Howard Melnick (Guitar). Signed to (Danse Macabre Records).
Astari Nite has headlined numerous shows, as well as opened up for many national acts such as Peter Murphy, The Psychedelic Furs, ColdCave, She Wants Revenge, Assemblage 23, VOWWS, Modern English, Andy Rourke of The Smiths among many others.

2016 Highlights – The single “Always Like Yesterday” was included in Spotify’s Fresh Finds playlist (January). Released a music video for the single “Always Like Yesterday.” Released second LP titled Until the end of the Moon (May). Toured the U.S East Coast in support of the album (May). Opened for She Wants Revenge (June). Single “The Boy Who Tried” featured in Everglades Killing Movie.
